You will learn how to run and manage a class, including lesson planning and basic rigging.

This is suitable for people who have experience of traditional yoga and would like to learn a range of aerial disciplines with a view to teaching, or existing aerial teachers who would like to gain teaching experience in other disciplines.

Course Pre-requisites

Adequate proven experience of any style of Yoga Basic anatomy & physiology. We may suggest pre course reading if we think that would be helpful Some teaching experience in another field would be helpful but not essential.

Wing yoga offers more support than a normal floor yoga class, allowing teachers to offer an array of classes suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced yogis.

No matter your shape, size or ability, you can enjoy Wing yoga.

No previous teaching experience is required.

Wing yoga offers several physical and psychological benefits, improving flexibility, stability, and balance.

It is an amazing addition to the practice of yoga as it helps to decompress the spine, increases core strength and balance as well as provide the action of pulling, a movement that is lacking in the traditional yoga practice.

Participants will explore a variety of postures in the Wing Yoga Manual. The course focuses on progressions, alignment, and sequencing. Rigging and inspection of equipment for your specific space will be covered. The training culminates in a sample class, methods, a rigging assessment, and practice teaching.
